While it can certainly be said that movement in general aids blood circulation, I wanted to add a particular movement…
I ran across this concept in a book authored by the creator or the Oxygen Advantage program, Patrick McKeown. In his book, The Breathing Cure, he opens with a series of discrete breathwork exercises he refers to as “recipes”. I like it enough to repurpose it here. Expect to find a mix of very short exercises – breath, movement, meditation – that are intended to target very specific situations. Examples… breath exercise for extreme anxiety, a movement pattern to relieve symptoms of acid reflux. I’ll try to post at least 2 per week, usually on Fridays and Mondays. If there is a specific circumstance you’ve wondered about, drop me a line from the contact page or if you take my classes, hit me up before or after class. I may not have an immediate answer, but have the research background and a broad knowledge base that help to get to answers quite efficiently! Thursday as a write this .. one more class to go this week. I got a few great questions this week but will let my Friday group add to the pot before I select the first post!
